Maison Martin Margiela
LP meet fashion with Maison Martin Margiela
Often referred to as iconoclast, avant-garde and experimental, the Maison Martin Margiela expresses its creativity through recycling, transformation and reinterpretation - like an emotion, a unique and timeless proposal defying all laws and rules.
Since 1989 Maison Martin Margiela has given second life to found objects while respecting and maintaining the passage of time, each garment is reworked entirely by hand at the Atelier of the Maison in Paris. Naturally this limits the quantity of garments produced, each piece is unique.
Martin Margiela was born in 1957 in Genk, Belgium.
