Hendzel + Hunt

On May 6th 2011 Hendzel + Hunt held our first ever 24hr Design Challenge, the challenge was based on an experimental approach to our MADE IN PECKHAM range.

Inspired by the history and aesthetics of Peckham’s industrial past, namely the Edison Bell gramophone factory and record label, the challenge was to design and produce a machine capable of playing a record within the set 24 hour period.
The idea for the Challenge stems from our MADE IN PECKHAM range of furniture, which is built with sustainability, up-cycling and localism in mind.

Hendzel + Hunt are a vibrant, young design studio based in South London, specialising in the manufacture and design of bespoke cabinets and furniture.
